It was positioned between the 911 T and the 911 S. Its 2-liter engine was equipped with Bosch mechanical fuel injection and produced 140 ch. That same year, Porsche lengthened the 911’s wheelbase by 57 mm to improve stability. The 911 E 2.0 was produced for only one year before the transition to the 2.2-liter engine. This example was delivered new on May 24, 1969, by the Wilton Imports dealership in Connecticut. Its first service records are stamped in the original service booklet, which is still present. The car was then taken to California, then to Europe in 2009, before being permanently imported to France in 2012 directly through Porsche France. It has been registered in France since April 2015. 🚘 Condition: This example is in very good overall condition. The expert found no signs of structural damage or perforating corrosion. The “Tangerine Orange” paint has been repainted, the chrome is in good condition, and all suspension components are new. The original Fuchs wheels are also in good condition. Inside the cabin, the black faux-leather Recaro upholstery, the floor mats, and the headliner are in very good overall condition. The dashboard is well-preserved and features a period car stereo as well as a four-spoke steering wheel. 🔧 The original flat-six engine is powered by a Bosch mechanical fuel injection pump, and the entire mechanical system was in very good condition at the time of the inspection.
