Launched in the early 1950s, the Blancpain Fifty Fathoms was one of the first diving watches, and defined the very codes of the genre: large case, luminescent dial, automatic movement, rotating bezel. Launched in the 1970s, the "No radiation" version is highly recognizable thanks to its logo at 6 o'clock. This model has been used by many divers and armed forces around the world. The watch we present today has an interesting provenance, having been chosen for the brand's 275th anniversary exhibition and illustrated in several reference works.
RC: Good overall condition, scratches from use, working at time of appraisal.
